Personal information being collected
The Department will collect any personal information provided by you when you submit a registration request to attend the 2025 WAMS Conference. This will include:
Name, company, job title, contact details.
Purpose of collection
The Department will collect any personal information you provide for the purpose of registering you to attend the 2025 WAMS Conference.
The Department may also use or disclose personal information provided in this form for the purposes of inviting you to future relevant events hosted by the Department. Please advise wams@dfat.gov.au if you would not like your personal information used or disclosed for any of these purposes. It will not affect your ability to participate in the 2025 WAMS Conference.
Consequences for not providing information requested
If you do not provide the personal information identified in the form as mandatory, the Department will not be able to issue your ticket for the 2025 WAMS Conference. Providing any other information is optional and will not affect your ability to attend the 2025 WAMS Conference.

By submitting a request to register for the 2025 WAMS Conference, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Notice and agree to the Department managing your personal information as set out in this Privacy Notice.
By submitting a request to register for the 2025 WAMS Conference, you:
acknowledge that Australian Privacy Principle 8.1 will not apply to a disclosure of personal information by the Department to any overseas recipient listed in this Privacy Notice; and consent to the Department’s disclosure of your personal information to the overseas recipient listed in this Privacy Notice for any of the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice.
If you supply personal information to us about another person, you represent and warrant that you are authorised to do so and that the relevant person has consented to the disclosure to us, and to our collection, use and disclosure, for any of the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice.
