The crisis management workshop is tailored for mine security professionals and managers responsible for managing security incidents. It is a practical and useful knowledge sharing opportunity that will draw on scenarios from journey management (robbery, IEDs, convoy security) to detainment/kidnapping, camp security or evacuations. The session is led by Liam Morrissey, CEO of the security and crisis response consultancy, MS Risk Limited in partnership with John Moller, Head of Security Crisis and Emergency Management, Perenti Group. Jane Keating, Regional Consular Officer based out of Pretoria will join the workshop to share government approaches and responses from an Australian viewpoint.
